Bidirektional: Deutsch → Englisch, dann Englisch → Deutsch
Two real conversations you could face in an exam's Sprechen/Hören sections, or in real life. This is production, not recognition: cover the answer, write (or say out loud) your own translation first, then reveal to check yourself against the model.
Scenario: registering your address at the Bürgeramt (Anmeldung), a required step after moving to Germany.
6. Sie: "Muss ich noch etwas anderes mitbringen?"
7. Beamter: "Nein, das reicht. Sie bekommen die Anmeldebestätigung sofort."
8. Sie: "Vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe."
Scenario: calling a doctor's office to make an appointment (Sprechen Teil 2 role-play format on both Goethe and telc).
1. Receptionist: "Good morning, how can I help you?"
2. You: "Good morning, I'd like to make an appointment with Dr. Meyer."
3. Receptionist: "Is it urgent, or can it wait until next week?"
4. You: "It's not urgent. Next week is fine."
5. Receptionist: "How about Tuesday at 10 o'clock?"
6. You: "That works for me. Thank you very much."
7. Receptionist: "You're welcome. See you Tuesday."
