The two oral skills, drilled actively

Without audio, listening practice here uses "read-once" transcripts - cover the text, have someone (or your teaching agent) read it aloud once at natural pace, then answer without looking. This simulates real exam conditions better than reading silently. For genuine audio, the official Goethe A1 Modellsatz remains essential.

Three-pass method reminder (from Lesson 37): first pass for gist, second pass for the specific detail the question asks, third pass to check against the transcript.

Hören 1: a phone message (read once, then answer)

"Hallo, hier ist die Praxis Dr. Weber. Ihr Termin am Montag um 14 Uhr muss leider verschoben werden. Der neue Termin ist am Mittwoch um 15:30 Uhr. Bitte rufen Sie uns zurück, wenn das nicht passt. Die Nummer ist 030 987 6543. Vielen Dank."

Scenario: You're at a Bäckerei. Order two items, ask the price, and ask if you can pay by card.

Sprechen 3: picture description (30-45 sec)

Describe any photo near you right now using the pattern from Lesson 106: what you see, where things are, what's happening, your impression.
